Here in America – and the rest of the northern hemisphere – today is the summer solstice: the longest day of the year, the official beginning of summer, and a great time to plan a summer vacation. I really do need to leave my house a little more often--though, in my defense, I have been to the Mission Point Light house! :)
Well, Bridget, if you've been to the Old Mission Point Lighthouse, you HAVE ventured a bit from your house... but then I, too, need to leave my house more often.

It seems you've learned quite a lot lately. ;-) I hope to attain such enlightenment someday, too. While I do love my stories, worlds, and characters - and certainly feel a sense of euphoria while immersed in writing - I still spend too much time judging myself through others' eyes.
