Weekend Mishmash: A Mini-Hiatus

As previously mentioned, I’ve spent the last two weeks laboring on a book proposal. Well, today is my last day of these crazy work habits (at least until the next project), as it’s due tomorrow.

I’ve been up all night, putting the finishing touches on seven of the eight sections, but I still have one left to complete. Though I’m fairly exhausted right now, I’m still thrilled by the possibility of writing this book. So, of course, I have high hopes.

Well, I should get back to work. I promise that, after turning in my proposal tomorrow (and taking a much-needed nap), I’ll rejoin the blogosphere in earnest. In the meantime, I’ll just envy my cat.

Hang in there! I'm rooting for you all the way. I hope that you get it and that we can see some pictures here as you "research" for your new book!! Good luck, and give me a call when you've recovered. I'll take you and Dan to the lodge for pizza!

Good luck! I know you'll get it done, and it will be fabulous.

You can do it!

I wish I could give your kitty a good scratch behind the ears. Don't cats know how to prioritize so well?

Thanks, Becky. I'm taking a soup break at the moment, but pizza sounds great right about now... I will definitely call you when this is all over!

Aw, shucks, Susan and Anita, thanks bunches! Oh, and yes, Anita, cats sure do know how to prioritize. Wish I could sleep as soundly as Ruby does... so feel free to scratch her ears. She probably won't even budge.

I did it, I did it! I sent my proposal in... now, I just have to wait. Wonder how long I have to keep my fingers crossed.
